FAQs
Do we need a Marriage License?
Yes-unless you are renewing your vows, please review the process of obtaining a marriage license in Kane County via think link-Marriage License Instructions
Do we need a Witness?
No! Illinois does not require a witness to sign the marriage certificate.
Do you Officiate or can we bring our own?
Either! You can bring an ordained minister of your own or have us officiate for you. We have an option for English, Spanish & French Officiants.
Can we bring our own photographer?
Sure! You may bring your own professional photographer, have a guest snap the moments or for a more professional finish, add on a Photography Package from our partners.
Can we bring our own food/alcohol?
Yes, you’re welcome to bring your own refreshments! Just a quick heads-up on the layout: our venue is curated for ceremony and mingling, so we don’t have traditional dining tables available. It’s a great fit for 'sip and see' style celebrations or small cake-and-champagne toasts!
Are you LGBTQIA+ Friendly?
Absolutely, yes! We are proudly woman owned & an all-inclusive and affirming venue, thrilled to celebrate all couples as they begin their journey together
Is the venue ADA accessible?
Yes! There is an elevator within the building.
Do you have “get ready” rooms?
While our historic building features shared restroom facilities, our floor includes a dedicated, oversized accessible suite. This spacious area offers a private sink and ample room to comfortably change into your gown or suit, making it a convenient spot for those final pre-ceremony touches.
